If you’re worried about hair thinning, shedding, or changes to your scalp health, you’re not alone and you’re not imagining it. Whether you’ve noticed more hair in your brush, an itchy or uncomfortable scalp, or your hair just isn’t behaving the way it used to, it’s completely normal to feel unsure about what’s happening or what to do next.
At Love Hair, we understand how personal these concerns can feel and how frustrating it is when you can’t find clear answers.
That’s why we’re so proud to offer something truly different.
The only salon in Broadway and the surrounding area with a fully qualified, registered Trichologist on the team.
This means you’ll receive expert scalp and hair advice, a professional diagnosis, and a clear plan tailored just for you, all in a supportive, judgement-free space where you’ll feel seen, heard and understood.
Who is Trichology For?
A consultation could help if you are:
✔️ Losing more hair than usual
✔️ Seeing thinning or bald patches

✔️ Experiencing hair shedding after pregnancy, illness or stress
✔️ Noticing sudden changes in your scalp or hair texture

How to Start Your Trichology Journey
The first step towards understanding your scalp and hair health is to complete our private online Trichology Enquiry Form.
This form helps Deborah get a clear understanding of your concerns and availability, so she can make sure a Trilogy Consultation is right for you before we book your appointment.
Once you’ve submitted the form, our team will review it, and Deborah will personally advise if a Trichology Consultation is the best next step for you.
If it is, we’ll contact you to arrange your in-salon consultation and guide you through the process.
This way, you know from the very start that you’re getting the right advice, tailored specifically to you.
What Happens During a Trichology Appointment?
Once booked, Your Trichology Appointment is a step-by-step process designed to give you answers, expert advice and a personal plan:

After your appointment, you’ll receive a written plan by email, with clear advice on products, treatments, lifestyle changes and any next steps you need to take. - Referral Letter (if needed)
If Deborah spots anything that needs medical input, she will provide a professional referral letter for your GP or a specialist. - Follow-Up Zoom Call

FAQs
How is a Trichology consultation different from a normal salon consultation?
A standard salon consultation focuses on your styling goals — colour, cut and condition. A Trichology consultation goes much deeper. It looks at the health of your scalp and hair follicles, your medical history, lifestyle and haircare routines to find the underlying cause of your hair or scalp concerns and create a personal treatment plan.
What kinds of hair or scalp problems can a Trichologist help with?
Deborah can help with:
✔️ Hair thinning & excessive shedding
✔️ Scalp irritation, dryness, flaking or itching
✔️ Post-pregnancy or hormonal hair loss
✔️ Fine hair concerns
✔️ Changes after illness, medication or stress
✔️ Hair health after colouring or chemical treatments
✔️ Sudden changes in hair texture or density
What happens during the Trilogy Appointment?
You’ll fill in a detailed pre-appointment form so Deborah can understand your health, hair history and lifestyle.
You’ll have a 45-minute consultation, where Deborah will ask questions to get a full picture of your concerns.
Deborah will carry out a scalp examination to assess your scalp and follicles.
You’ll receive a written advice plan by email with product recommendations, treatment suggestions and clear next steps.
You’ll also receive a follow-up Zoom call to review your progress within a month.
How much does the Trilogy Appointment cost?
The full Trilogy Appointment, including your consultation, scalp examination, written advice plan, referral letter if needed, and follow-up Zoom call is £170.
What if I need further advice after my first appointment?
You can book an optional follow-up appointment within 6 weeks for £100. This includes another scalp examination, an updated advice plan if anything needs to change, and the chance to ask any further questions.
Will Deborah try to sell me products?
No. All advice is completely independent and tailored to your personal needs. If Deborah recommends any products, they are chosen purely because they are the best fit for your scalp and hair health, not because they’re sold in the salon.
What if my problem needs medical attention?
If Deborah identifies anything that needs further investigation — such as underlying medical conditions, skin conditions or hormonal imbalances, she will provide you with a referral letter to take to your GP or specialist. This helps you get the right medical support alongside your Trichology care.
Can I book a Trichology appointment even if I’m not a regular client?
Absolutely! The Trilogy Appointment is open to everyone, whether you’re already a Love Hair Broadway client or visiting us for the first time.
How do I book my Trilogy Appointment?
First complete the Trichology Enquiry form and we will contact you to organise the right consultation for you and your concerns.
